Milled Ferro Silicon with 65% Silicon, provides a higher Silicon content compared to the 45% Atomised product. This higher Silicon content can enhance the deoxidising properties and improve the quality of certain types of weld (i.e. high purity welds / strong joint welds, where there is more stress or higher temperature or harsher general conditions).

The higher Silicon content in Milled Ferro Silicon 65% helps stabilise the electric arc during welding, resulting in a smoother, more precise weld.

Note that this material is unstabilized.
