Calcium Silico Manganese

Calcium Silico Manganese (or ‘Calcium Manganese Silicon’) is an alloy of Silicon, Calcium & Manganese.

 

Properties

Reduces the inclusion of molten steel effectively, improves the fluidity of molten steel and avoids pin-holing in steel billets. Is an alloy of Silicon with 14-16% Calcium and 14-16% Manganese.

Uses

Is used as a deoxidiser and desulphuriser in steel manufacturing.
